Olcott Square Intersection Realignment and Traffic Signal Update
Bernardsville, New Jersey
Project Scope
The Olcott Square in Bernardsville is a connection of five streets into a three point intersection. Traffic is congested starting with a backup onto Mt. Airy Rd and Anderson Hill Road. With a high volume of pedestrian traffic due to the surrounding stores and residential areas, there are safety risks to pedestrians at cross walks due to the high traffic congestions, lack of traffic signals, and dangerous lines of site to drivers. Traffic Volumes will be used to design scenarios for improvement of flow and safety of this intersection using Civil3D. The project will incorporate a cost estimate as well as a final bid amount for the construction work.
